Latest Updates

Lily loves playing with Playdoh...but we have to watch her...she likes to try and eat it too!

Here she is concentrating on making snakes!

She wants my phone...we are eating breakfast...her favorite: eggs!

Here she is with her dolly that Kristen gave her. She loves pushing the dolly around in the stroller. Look familiar Kristen?? She also likes to be pushed around in the stroller as well.

Wow...it's been FOREVER since I updated this blog. Ok, where to start!!

Lily is almost 15 months old and continues to amaze us everyday with her creativity, dance moves, smile, laughter and overall intelligence. It's so fun to watch her grow and develop. Last night, she was putting on a show for daddy and me. She was playing with her little piano and dancing to the songs. She would spin in a circle, with her booty leading, and go until the song stopped. We would clap and she would clap so excitingly. It was SO cute!

We all had a bout of the stomach flu. It put 3 people in the hospital and hit 10 people that we know of! Lily was the epidemic spreader and got it very mild. Thank god for vaccinations.

I started teaching at Lewis University, one undergrad class: Theories of Personality and Development. So far it's been fun. It's very hard to prepare for the classes and to make it interesting enough for the students to participate. It's been a great learning experience.

A few weeks ago, Lily took her first plane ride to Arizona to visit daddy for 3 days. He was on a job and we went out to get into nice weather! It was in the 70's. We had to buy ourselves a few t-shirts! We stayed at a nice hotel: A Loft. I highly suggest it. Lily did very good on the plane and daddy got to fly with us home. We are going out to San Diego in May to watch daddy speak at a convention. CAN'T wait for that weather!
Oh yeah, she has about 12 teeth now.
And we are done with the breastfeeding for the most part. She has transitions to cows milk and I will nurse her morning and at night. Now we have to cut that out too. I didn't want too many cuts all at once. Heck...we made it 15 months...not bad! I'm happy to be done pumping...that's for sure!
